Live Music Reviews from Around Ontario

Lukas Rossi’s March 26 show was sold out times 2, once again!

March 26, 2022 Live Music

So stoked for tonight.. My last words in my last review stated, “I hope we didnt have to wait SO LONG to see Lukas live again! Poof, here we are, endulging on his 93rd Stage It show of magic once again, days later. Rock Idol, Lukas Rossi, put on another magnetic, luminous, and up close and personal showcase as he shed light as our bright and shining beacon inside the world’s dark times as he projected Dark And A Gun. Each strum and soothing lyric, whether it was a powerful cover rendition or one of his magical and emotional originals, each peice was vivid and lustrous. He gathers the masses to encourage us to stick together and Never Say Goodbye. He nailed a picture perfect version of 1 of my faves, Everlong, by Foo Fighters, in memory of loosing the Foo Fighter’s drummer, Taylor Hawkins today. He shared several Stream Of Thoughts and perfected both his rendition of Stone Temple Pilot’s Interstate Love Somg and Smashing Pumpkins’ Disarm. So darn mystical to hear Lukas doing something from 90s act, LIVE as he sang his unique version of their Lighting Crashes. Lukas sure knows the healing touch as he brought the night to a close with a Coldplay tune, the perfect selection, as this is what I feel Rossi ‘s heart is all about, as he sings he tries to heal and help Fix You. You have to grab a ticket to his next appearance, then you can see the magic for yourself as it is not difficult to see why Lukas is so enamored with music as it does heal. His infatuation with song creation is our gain, it totally comes full circle, as we too, become smitten with his delivery. John Cougar Mellencamp, says it best, “Rock’n’roll starts between the legs and goes through the heart, then to the head. As long as it does those three things, it’s a great rock song.” Lukas’s tunes do just that by showing us Lukas’s pulse of life.

Rossi’s songs express the pain he feels today which.becomes his strength he feels tomorrow.

Kudos for being so darned determined, focused, and dedicated to your craft and to your fans! Thanks for being our motivational guide.

Each and every show you do Lukas, encompasses your deep and rich catalog of hits as you randomly pull from all your albums, and EPs spanning over 27 years… just like you did tonight, mesmerizing us by playing for the 1st time, your original hit, Dark and a Gun.

Ending the night, Lukas sent a birthday wish to the Rossi Posse, ONE LOVE!

“This life is full of high hopes, the only hope is the most high,” Lukas Rossi

Stay tuned on April 15th, for the release of Rossi’s NEWEST song/video that was co-written with Amanda Nail, entitled Perfect World.

I wish to personally thank so many of the Rossi Posse for their true kindness and generosity! ♡
