ROCK & ROLL HALL of FAME 2020 INDUCTEES on HBO, Nov. 11 at 8pm
Drumroll, please — this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees have officially been announced! In celebration of the ceremony’s 35th year, Feedback hosts Nik Carter and Lori Majewski introduced the Class of 2020. Jon Landau and Irving Azoff will be receiving the Ahmet Ertegun Award, which honours songwriters, producers, disc jockeys, record executives, journalists, and other industry professionals who have had a major influence on rock and roll.
This marks a particularly historic moment for The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Notorious B.I.G., and T. Rex, who appeared on the ballot for the first time. An international voting body of over 1,000 artists — including current living inductees, historians, and other members of the industry — were chosen to determine this year’s inductees on the bases of musical influence, career length, depth of their body of work, and innovation and superiority in style and technique.
The 35th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame INDUCTION CEREMONY SPECIAL DEBUT presentation will honor this year’s inductees: The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, The Notorious B.I.G., T. Rex, and Depeche Mode.

As well, Amet Ertegun Award honorees Jon Landau and Irving Azoff.
This special event is in lieu of the live Induction Ceremony originally scheduled for May 2 of this year.
The special will feature guests including Luke Bryan, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Miley Cyrus, Billy Gibbons, Dave Grohl, Don Henley, Jennifer Hudson, Billy Idol, Iggy Pop, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine, Chris Martin, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Brad Paisley, Bruce Springsteen, St. Vincent, Ringo Starr, Gwen Stefani, Charlize Theron, Nancy Wilson and more, all highlighting the importance and influence of the 2020 Inductees.
Dave Grohl kicks off the show with a heartfelt introduction to this year’s class of inductees, and the special guests will speak further on how the 2020 Inductees impacted their personal and professional careers.
The radio simulcast can be heard on SiriusXM at 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 7 on Classic Vinyl (channel 26), VOLUME (channel 106), and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Radio (channel 310) and online with the SiriusXM app. For more information on SiriusXM, visit siriusxm.com and will air on NOV. 7th from 8pm til 10pm, on HBO and HBO MAX.
