REVIEW-Another virtual SOLD OUT musical adventure for Lukas Rossi.
Another SOLD OUT Friday night for Lukas Rossi’s online Stageit platform aas he kicked off our 1st long holiday of 2022, on this our Victory Weekend… aka ‘The May 24. with tons of musical fireworks, truly melting my mind! This was the best performance to date for me. As rewards, the TOP show supporter personally received a special bandana and a BRAND NEW SONG! As well, the TOP 3 supporters received exclusive surprises and a 4th winner was drawn from the bucket that contained the names of all the fans that were kind enough to pickup hitchhikers for this explosive show. The winner was Tara Lynn and her prize allows her to assist Lukas as they create the setlist for the next show.
“You say one love, one life, when it’s one need, in the night, one love, we get to share it,” seems to be Lukas Rossi’s mantra as he kicked off his set with U2’s, One, letting us feel exceptional, almost like a Voodoo Child. He assured us “I need you like oxygen, I do” as he sang of his love for our devotion from his hit,Tattoo. Nailing his introspective and delightful rendition of Radiohead’s Creep, left me in awe of his constant work ethic as he expressed “in a beautiful world, I wish I was special,” and yet, I projected it’s refrain immediately, well, Lukas, “you’re so fuckin special!” Shakedown1979, he conveyed his unique version of Smashing Pumpkins lyrics “as restless as we are, we feel the pull,” yep, most definitely how I felt, the need to indulge once again on the infectiously addictive tunage of Mr. Rossi, who never leaves us High And Dry, especially spoiling us with “Two jumps in a week!” Catapulting our “Broken hearts like rubber bands” into a Perfect World, “where no one dies and no one says goodbye.” To be honest, I’ve been totally lost inside my spinal bone compression fractures and it’s never ending painful saga, and his lyrics “I live inside the sadness, away from all my shattered dreams,” resonated within me. Our Sunrise Of A Digital Staralways shares his heart and forecasts his thanks to each of us inside his Name Song this time adding in the healing words from Coldplay as he shared, “lights will guide you home and ignite your bones,” which led from right down deep inside his warmth into an intimate “I will try to Fix You.” Ending the night as he gifted us with his dedicated Promises as he tripped back to Black Crows, She Talks To Angels, while installing his fuel within us with his old adage, “cause you’re why my heart beats,” simple words to some yet they are personally encouraging, just the right dose of medicine to help me feel that I’m Getting Better.
